Activity selection
Your activity is the foundation of the licence.
The description should reflect the work the company intends to perform. Activity selection can influence the authority, legal form, premises, approvals, banking profile and tax treatment.
Common categories
Service, commercial, e-commerce and industrial models all need different planning.

Multiple activities
Related activities may be combined, subject to the relevant rules.
If the business has several revenue streams, list them before incorporation. Adding an activity later may require an amendment and additional approvals or fees.
Approvals
Regulated activities can require more than the licence itself.
Healthcare, education, food, finance, real estate and other regulated fields may involve external authority approvals. Confirm the sequence before committing to premises or launch dates.
Before you submit
Describe the actual customer journey.
Explain what you sell, who pays you, how the product or service is delivered, whether goods are imported or stored, and where customers are located. That makes activity selection far more precise.
