What banks assess
Banks want to understand the real business behind the licence.
Expect questions about owners, experience, source of wealth and funds, activity, customers, suppliers, expected countries, transaction values, turnover and why a UAE account is needed.
Preparation
Build a coherent application pack.
Company documents, shareholder identification, proof of address, business profile, contracts or invoices where available, source-of-funds evidence and expected transaction information may all be relevant. Exact requirements vary by bank and case.
Choosing a bank
Match the bank to the operating profile.
Consider minimum balance expectations, digital banking, international payments, trade facilities, cash needs, branch access, payment integration and the countries the business deals with.
Approval
No consultant can guarantee a bank account.
A well-prepared application can reduce avoidable questions, but approval remains with the bank. If one bank declines, understand the reason before repeating the same application elsewhere.
RAKBusiness approachWe help prepare the business case and documents. We do not present bank approval as automatic or guaranteed.
