In case that isn’t enough (it should be you heathens), we’re upping our game with a LOUDER sound system guaranteed to bass your face and we’re even creating a couple of original interactive installations to add to the experience.
Also starring: more food for less including SHAWERMA, the lovely Soul Artists in all their trippy circus glory, and Gypsy Heart (in association with Tattva Yoga) bringing you everything from sound healing to coffee cup reading and handmade jewelry. Plus, our fabulous bartenders and bar are back with an updated menu at our traditionally ridiculously cheap prices.

Once again thet’ve got 5 killer DJs headlining the festival.
ROD LEE WINTERS, DJIIVA, RAYA, MADLOU, and AYN are set to blast your brains and rock your socks off non-stop from 5 pm till 11 am.
– ROD LEE WINTERS: From Sydney to Berlin to Audiotonic at 360 Dubai and a residency at Deep Like, Rod has been a major player in the formative years of the UAE’s
electronic music scene and continues to draw crowds wherever he plays thanks to his consistently bopping, quality, dance-inducing, signature Rod Lee brand of house music.
– RAYA: With a wild and palpable passion for music, it is no wonder Raya performs so regularly at dancefloors across the country and has even been booked for this year’s Afrika Burn! She will be delivering her dark, dirty, groovy techno tunes directly to your circulation using her patented deck-to-veins system. GPS tracking not available.
– AYN: Aya Nasif aka Ayn is making her UAE debut at Dawaran and we are so excited! As Jordan’s freshest and upcoming DJ/Producer, specifically in the field of electronic music, AYN specializes in techno and tech house. Influenced by her Arabic roots and guided by her love for western and exotic melodies, her seamless mixing techniques blend her worlds into one.
– MADLOU: An underground star in his native Egypt, MadLou broke globally in 2016 thanks to stand out sets at the Club Cinema and Sugar Factory in Amsterdam during ADE and the iconic techno waterhole Rutter Butzke in Berlin.
MadLou’s music is powerful, elegant, sometimes dark, never industrial, and never commercial. His sets are transcendental and guaranteed to take you on a journey somewhere between your insides and outer space.
-DJIIVA: Djiiva was a key element of the Barcelona music and new tendencies scene for over 10 years as the founder and director of two of the most original and popular festivals of the last decade (PULGAS MIX and FEMELEK). Having toured extensively and internationally for over 18 years, we are thrilled to have her back at Dawaran.
Whether she’s playing deep or latin or afro – and trust, she always plays the right things at the right time – her music will have you LIVING and dancing and hoping she never ever stops.
